Workshop from Candomblé to Samba The workshop provides an encounter with the fascinating afrobrazilian culture. Dance, music and a lot of additional information are demonstrating the complexity of Brazil. Coming from the African roots of the Candomblé - Dance of the Deities, the afrobrazilian dance of the Blocos Afros of Salvador da Bahia with pulsing rhythms and powerful movements will be the main focus of the class. The workshop covers as well the Samba the way it is celebrated today in Brazil, bursting of life and spontaneity. The afrobrazilian culture of the streets! |
